Delegates, Don't Forget Your Responsibility to Attend the Convention!

If you were elected a delegate at the Senate District 11 convention, don't forget that the 2010 Texas Democratic Party State Convention will be Thursday, June 24 to Saturday, June 26, in Corpus Christi at the American Bank Center. This energizing event will be a great opportunity for all Democrats to get together and get organized as we gear up for this November's elections.

Issue caucuses and Senate District caucuses will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, June 25. In the General Session on Friday, following the caucuses, gubernatorial candidate Bill White will speak to the convention. On Saturday, June 26, the exhibition hall will open at 9 a.m., promptly following the Lady Bird Johnson Breakfast. Party platform, resolutions and rules will be considered and adopted and state party officers, including TDP chair and vice chair, will be elected.
