Democrats Car Pooling to Rally for NASA Jobs

Bay Area New Democrats, we need to show up in force! We'll meet for car pooling at 6:15 p.m. Friday, May 14 at The Fish Place on Clear Lake City Boulevard. The Galveston County Democratic Party and the Texas AFL-CIO are jointly sponsoring the Democrats and Labor Rally to Support NASA Jobs at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex, 1251 League City Parkway (SH 96) in League City. The event will feature food and drink, entertainment and speakers. The public is invited.

County Judge Jim Yarbrough and Texas AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer John Patrick will be masters of ceremonies. Guest speakers are U.S. Reps. Gene Green, Al Green and Sheila Jackson Lee, as well as Texas Democratic Party chair Boyd Richie and Bob Martinez, general vice president, Southern Territory, IAMAW.
